On the call

The commentary booth

Every match has a booth: a play-by-play caller and a colour commentator who welcome you before the centre pass, call the goals, intercepts and whistles, and talk it through at the breaks. Which booth you get depends on who's playing.

The commentators are fictional. Their voices are AI-generated with ElevenLabs and not modelled on any real person. In the game, subtitles show who is speaking, and the booth can be switched to single calls or off in Settings.

Read along

Every line appears as a subtitle with the speaker's name, so the booth works with the sound off too. The crowd dips while they talk, and the pre-match chat never holds up the centre pass: one tap and you're playing.

An in-play call as a subtitle at the bottom of the screen during a match.
